THE PURPOSE AND THE PUZZLE OF LIFE

This was an exercise given to our participants at the Beyond Beautiful Conference this year. Every girl is given a puzzle piece as they enter the class room.

Sometimes life can be like a puzzle….you don’t have all the pieces or know how they fit.

I want you to know that the Puzzle was a Perfect Picture before it was a puzzle.

You might feel like you don’t fit at times…and maybe you don’t look like everyone else;maybe you’re not as smart, thin, or dress as nice…or maybe you are.

YOU are exactly who you are, your skin color, height, the color of your eyes, everything about you is based on God’s purpose for your life; your gift and your talent is to bless someone else, to bless the world, to touch your generation.

You may not fit into every situation…or some place you think you should….but maybe you don’t belong there….think about that….If it doesn’t fit, don’t force it!

But there is a place especially for you where YOU fit; in the big picture of things; and that is the place where you will ROCK the World.

Sometime you might have to wait for another piece for it to make sense…or step back and look at life from a different angle or perspective – sometimes things are not what they appear at first glance.

But know this…your LIFE is a life of Purpose, there is a big picture and you fit, just like the piece of a puzzle.

You are capable of much more than you are presently thinking, imagining, doing or being.

Now, Take Your Piece of the Puzzle and see where you Fit!

STEPPING INTO THE NEW YEAR

I know it's been awhile since my last post. But I'm glad you're still here. Well it's that time...a clear ending to 2011 and new beginning in 2012. The word I'm hearing is that we will need to STEP INTO what we're believing for. Dr. Wallnau puts it this way...with Moses he stood on top of the rock with the rod given to him by God; and when he commanded the people to move forward and raised the rod, the red sea was opened. It was a little different for Joshua at the river Jordan, he had to STEP INTO the water to cross over. Some things are not going to change, happen, transition or manifest until we step into it. Yes, it's going to take some courage, and boldness, and obedience, but it's going to be a blast. As my pastor would say, yes the water is deep but the catch is big. So we're going deep this year. Know this: what you're looking for is not external, it's internal. We have to trust God, rely on His Word and the Holy Spirit within to guide us. We have the power of God on the inside. As my mentor says, we will either go within, or go without. It's up to you! So, let's get to stepping. The Lord will order our steps. He is the Lord our God who teaches us how to profit and leads us in the way we should go. Happy New Year now start stepping! ~Blessings

Picture This!

We're entering September which will be the end of the  3rd quarter of the year. It's been really busy and great for us at Seed of Hope. I wanted to check in with you...have you found your voice, your thing, your niche? What have you been doing the last two months?

We have been taught to frame our past; which is good because it helps to ground us and remind us where we have come from. But now, it's time to frame your future and keep it in front of you to remind you where you're going. And before you know it, it too will be a part of your present and then your past as you move on to take the next mountain.  This is our way of calling those things that be not as though they were. Did you know that that scriptures says in Hebrews 11:3 that God framed this world with his word, wow! What does your world look like right now?Check out your words. What have you been saying? What have you been thinking? And what have you been doing? Check it out...your life is the movie you have been thinking about, focusing on, and talking about.

By faith, we see the world called into existence by God's word, what we see created by what we don't see. ~Hebrews 11:3 TMB

Manage your words and manage your focus.

Taking Responsibility

Why do I have to take responsibility for what I am feeling?
Because what I am feeling is based upon the meaning I attach to the situation through my thought patterns. Therefore I am the one creating the feeling that's determining my state.  ~Dr. Lance Wallnau

This is very powerful! And, as Dr. Wallnau states, if I take responsibility, no one else can make me feel inferior, unworthy, mad, sad, depressed....etc..etc..etc.

Own your life!

Are You Tired of Waiting?

Are you tired of waiting? Do you feel like the pregnant woman near the end of her term, everything swollen and uncomfortable, pressure on the bladder, can't seem to get comfortable. Why does she endure it? Because the process has a purpose; to birth new life. This life won't be any easier, because with it comes another level of responsibility. Great responsibility. So what has she been doing in the waiting...preparing, getting things ready for the new arrival.

Are you preparing for what God wants to deliver to you? Are you preparing for the new birth; this new beginning?  Here's what Romans has to say:

All around us we observe a pregnant creation. The difficult times of pain throughout the world are simply birth pangs. But it's not only around us; it's within us. The Spirit of God is arousing us within. We're also feeling the birth pangs. These sterile and barren bodies of ours are yearning for full deliverance. That is why waiting does not diminish us, any more than waiting diminishes a pregnant mother. We are enlarged in the waiting. We, of course, don't see what is enlarging us. But the longer we wait, the larger we become, and the more joyful our expectancy.

So, I say to you: Wait on the Lord and He shall renew your strength.
