Will You Partner With Us?
Dear Friend:
Did you know that one study reported on by the Wall Street Journal indicates only 48% of high school students in our nation’s 50 largest cities are graduating in four years? For those who do graduate and go on to college, statistics show that 60% of college students change their major at least once before graduating, and another 20% leave regretting the major they chose. I’m sure we all know of others who are not currently working in the area of their degree. A study in 2000 showed that only 66% of 1,218 students and entry level employees chose their major based on career interest. We believe this is one of the major reasons people hate their jobs, - they are not happy with what they’re doing. This is alarming, but we believe we can help change these statistics.
Would you like to help us make a difference? At Seed of Hope Foundation, we believe that we can help our youth discover their purpose through identifying their gifts and passion. We can help them Discover, Define, Document and articulate their true passion, resulting in real life work. The work they were born to do. We can help aim them like an arrow in the right direction for further education, training or starting their own business. We can empower them to enjoy their work and not just exist with a 9 to 5. Think about it, most of us have worked our 9 to 5 and now we’re thinking about what we really want to do. Help us break the cycle and start our children off knowing exactly what they were born to do. Help us redeem the time. Let’s give them a reason (vision) to finish high school and then send them to college or into their chosen careers on Purpose and in Purpose.
Together, we will be able to help many families and individuals live fulfilling and meaningful lives and save time and money. We can help each child achieve something significant and impact their generation.
Please consider Seed of Hope Foundation in your charitable giving. Your gift is greatly appreciated and fully tax-deductible. Thank you and we look forward to partnering with you.
Sincerely,
Jacqueline Barnes, Founder
